Day 145 - Vegan Station at my Internship
Today I got to work with Elia at the vegan station. It was really fun! Especially since I LOVE vegan food and vegetarian food. We made Sweet Potato Tacos with Vegan Chicken and Tofu Cheese. I saved some for after I got off work and oh my it was definitely good!
Chef Jim had Alverto teach me how to use the wok at the Asian station. Now that was a toughie! The thing weights so much and the oil is boiling and extremely hot and could cause a fire if I spill it our put the flames too high. So that was a bit intimidating but neat to learn.
Jen, the Marketing and Communications Chair for Sodexo, had decided she wants to create a page just for me on the Chapman Sodexo website, and then videos for Facebook and Youtube. She’s taken 3 different videos of me so far and wants me to start blogging. Little did I know getting filmed for videos was going to be part of the job!
